Continental Purpose

African research institutions working across hazards, risk and resilience.

AADRI promotes collaboration, knowledge sharing, capacity development, and evidence-based policy support for disaster risk reduction and resilience across the continent.

The alliance exists to unify, strengthen, and advocate for African disaster and resilience research bodies while supporting cross-institutional collaboration, knowledge translation, and practical uptake of research in policy and community contexts.
